Known as Smaps, this is a current development project in association with our business partners, IcatchIT Inc. www.icatchit.com which involves the creation of an integration between Google Maps and Sage CRM.

In practical terms, this link allows for focused marketing and sales force management efforts aimed at the overlap of CRM Company or Person contacts and geography. This can benefit both mobile workers and managers as they can see at a glance a map with full contact information.

Specifically we used ASP and the Google Mapping API to link any CRM group and place pins in Google. We also created custom bubbles with information from the CRM database and a function to lookup the longitude and latitude of each contact in a CRM database. Effectively we can link this to any CRM that runs on a relational database like SQL Server or MySQL examples include Microsoft Dynamics, Sage CRM and Sugar CRM.
